One day you are on top of the world, the next you are a deer, hatching out of an egg…2014.  A great year for Hawkes Bay Merlots.  Probably.  It was for this particular Hawkes Bay Merlot anyway.  I really liked this one.  Hints of wood and smoke and good and love.  No hate and bad to be found in this one at all.  First Leftfield I have drunk.  In August.
