Drunk August came around fast this year. Considering last year was three years long, August is only 5 months in from Xmas this time round. Time is no longer a constant.

On to the wine. Started big, love this, have a few bottles stashed for a rainy day, but this is the last of the go to drinkers. Colour is less red now, has some more earthy tones. The wood is coming through strong, and it needs a bit of time to breathe before drinking.

Still one of my faves, just don’t drink the sediment.
